In Denmark, candles are used to create a relaxing, friendly atmosphere, turning any occasion into something special. With its long dark winters, Denmark has a strong tradition for making outstanding quality candles. 

Manufactured using traditional dipping methods. Each cotton wick is dipped repeatedly into hot paraffin of the finest quality until a beautiful candle has been created. The candles are then coloured and lacquered by hand. 

The dipping method and exceptional quality ensure perfectly shaped candles, which burn with a clean steady flame. Once the candles have slowly and attractively burned down, they extinguish themselves. 

The raw materials used are from leading European suppliers. The candles burn cleanly and slowly without dripping and with no unpleasant smoke or soot.

BURNING THE CANDLES:-

• To avoid dripping, do not expose candles to draughts, air conditioning or near a heat source.
• Always keep lit candles 10 cm apart, to stop one melting the other.
• Always make sure the wick is no longer than 1 cm to avoid sooting.
• Avoid touching the edge of the candle while lit, as this can cause an unbalance and the candle may drip.
• We recommend extinguishing the candles with our candle snuffers as this does not damage the wick and lead to dripping when re-lit.
• Occasionally if the candle is extinguished before the candle has fully burned down, the lacquer may build up around the wick, this is easily removed by heating with a match and removing with the opposite end of the match.
• Please note we have made every effort to reproduce the colour of the candles as accurately as possible. Colour may vary depending on your monitor. Do not hesitate to ring the shop if you are trying to match exact colours, we will be delighted to help you.
