Valter is a large Tomte 35 cm in height. His hat and nose are sewn from soft woolen felt and his beard is genuine grey curly Gotland or long white Icelandic sheepskin.
Each Tomte is handmade and totally unique, but all have the same characteristic of being totally adorable!

"Hey!
I am tomte also known as the Christmas gnome. I live in the woods or under the floorboards of a farmers barn and although I am very shy, I deliver presents to all the children at Christmas time. I am about three feet tall and can be a bit grumpy and secretive. I don't come down the chimney, I just walk through the front door. I love to be left a bowl of porridge on Christmas Eve, even better if it has a pat of butter on the top. In Denmark and Norway I am known as Nisse and in Finland, Tonntu.
If I come to your house please straighten my hat and brush my beard a little, I love to look good and it tickles.
