All fabric is made out of 100% cotton, woven according to environmentally sound practices.
The fabric can be warm washed. Shrinkage of approximately 6% after the first wash.
The colours become more vibrant after the first wash, this is due to the nature of the jacquard weave.
Although right handed, Lott draws all her images with her left hand giving her designs a certain charm and quirkiness.

Hilda Hilda manufactures and sells jacquard woven cotton fabrics in a variety of colours and patterns. All patterns and fabrics are designed and woven in Sweden by textile engineer, Lott Hildebrand. It is a clever method by which fabrics are woven with the same warp while the colors are mixed in with the weft, this gives a tapestry look to the fabric.
A similar fabric is also available 145 cm wide, sold by the metre. The fabric is thick and dense and therefore ideal for upholstery.
