Charley Harper (American, 1922–2007) loved animals and nature, but he was quick to remind folks that he was an artist, not a naturalist. “I think flat, simple, and funny,” he said. In a style he called “minimal realism,” he used geometric shapes, patterns, and vivid colours to bring out the personality of each critter he painted.
This year, show your personality while brightening your days with over 150 of Harper’s colourful birds and animals. Stick and re-stick clever cardinals, prickly porcupines, and maybe even a riot of watermelon-eating raccoons!
