Bitte Stenström creates a wide variety of sophisticated and colourful designs for wallpaper and interior textiles. Hugely popular in Sweden her patterns have a presence in many Swedish homes.
Bitte always starts her designs as a pencil sketch, not using a computer until the final stages of working out the pattern repeat and final choice of colours.
Living on the pretty Swedish island of Öland gives Bitte much of her inspiration with its gentle atmosphere and peaceful environment. Bitte also designed the pretty Haga pattern that is a firm favourite here at Hus & Hem.
