KORBO handmade wire baskets have a history that dates back to the early 1920s in Sweden.

The unique construction, a single long wire completely without welding, is the reason that the baskets are so durable – there are simply no parts of the basket that can fall apart.

The baskets are timeless tools that were used by farmers, fishermen or anyone who needed storage that could withstand the weather.

The photographs below show a few examples of Korbo baskets being used in the 1940's in the small fishing village of Skägganäs.
