Swedish company Spira was started by Susanne Kjöllerström and Lena Brunnsåker. Both had an ambition to create interior design with joyful colours, pattern and attitude. Their idea was to build a timeless lasting collection where the customer could create their own personal style by combining and matching designs from different collections that are launched each season.
Most of the patterns are printed in Rydboholm, a small Swedish village with a long textile history. With a knowledge of the fabric printing industry and a keen eye for design, they work closely with designers and follow the procedure from the first idea to the finished product.
