Jonas Torstensson's Stumpastaken candleholder was designed in 1991, and celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
When lighting a candle there is always a little piece left, and for these 'stumps' Jonas invented his striking candleholder. The Stumpastaken holds 16 regular candles, stumps or tea lights.
Made from 100% recycled aluminium, (aluminium will not catch fire when the candles burn down) and Stumpstaken loves candles that drip!
Hygge up your home this winter and pop this design classic in the centre of the table.

Before the first use, place the protective felt pads supplied on the four outer pipes on the base of the candleholder.
If you need to clean your Stumpastaken start by removing all of the loose wax with a plastic or wooden utensil without scratching the metal. Put the candlestick upside down on a baking tray covered in baking paper. Prop up with a couple of pieces of cork or wooden skewers to raise it up a few centimetres. Place in the oven for 15 minutes at 90-100 degrees. Do not use a gas oven.
The candle wax will flow out onto the paper. Wipe the candlestick with kitchen paper. Do not use water, as it may discolour the aluminium.
