To mark the 25th birthday of Jonas Torstensson's Stumpastaken candleholder, a new member has been added to the family - Stumpanstaken Long.
In Sweden it is tradition to light one candle on each Sunday of the four Sundays before Christmas. Of course it is a lovely piece to use all year and due to its shape it is perfect to place on in the window.
When lighting a candle there is always a little piece left, and for these 'stumps' Jonas invented this striking candleholder.
Made from 100% recycled aluminium.
- 29.5 x 8.5 x 4 cm

Before the first use, place the protective felt pads supplied on the four outer pipes on the base of the candleholder.
If you need to clean your Stumpastaken start by removing all of the loose wax with a plastic or wooden utensil without scratching the metal. Put the candlestick upside down on a baking tray covered in baking paper. Prop up with a couple of pieces of cork or wooden skewers to raise it up a few centimetres. Place in the oven for 15 minutes at 90-100 degrees. Do not use a gas oven.
The candle wax will flow out onto the paper. Wipe the candlestick with kitchen paper. Do not use water, as it may discolour the aluminium.
