The small Bjørn Wiinblad tealight lantern is made from translucent glass that brings a sweet and crisp light into the home.
When lit, the fantastical bird in glass relief comes to life to add a lovely sparkle as it hangs in a window or sits on the table. Meanwhile, the warm evenings of summer call for candles in the garden’s green branches, where the grey silicone strap makes it easy to hang the lantern and keep it stable.
The little Rosendahl lantern also inspires a range of alternative uses, for instance pop in single bloom or plant with a succulent to add a green feel anywhere in the home.

Bjørn Wiinblad was born in Copenhagen in 1918. At a very early age, he began to show signs of his talent for drawing and creating imaginative worlds.
His style was anything but ‘conventionally Danish’. While functionalism ruled the roost in Denmark, Bjørn Wiinblad trod a very different path.
No matter what surface or medium Wiinblad chose for his creations, his style was instantly recognisable and truly inimitable – and his joie de vivre shone through in each and every product.
Bjørn Wiinblad’s abiding dream was to convert his home into a working museum for young artists. For every product sold a donation goes to the Bjørn Wiinblad Fund.
