Umbrella Guy - Vintage Travel Poster

We believe this little fellow is the most travelled boy in the world. Here he is about to conquer the world with his umbrella (better safe than sorry). And of course he chooses to travel by train, the best way to see the world. Mr Oksanen knew it, his little fellow knows it.

The poster advertises the Finnish State Railway and their "Circular tours" campaign, basically cheap train tickets during the post-war years so that the Finns could discover their country.

Artist: Osmo K. Oksanen (1916-1978)
