The iconic 1951 Kay Bojesen Monkey is available in several different sizes, and the time has come to add to the pedigree as Kay Bojesen Denmark introduces a new addition to the family: a baby-brother-sized Monkey, recreating Kay Bojesen’s familiar design in a charming miniature format.
Even though the monkey has “shrunk” significantly, its big personality and charm remain intact. Just like its big brothers, the Monkey’s glossy black eyes gleam, while his long arms swing cheekily anywhere from the children’s room to the bookcase and the office.
Small is definitely beautiful!

Kay Bojesen (1886 - 1958)
Kay Bojesen is known for his significant contribution to Danish functionalism, for creating handcrafted Danish design with humour and a smile and, naturally, for his popular “animal circus”, where monkeys, elephants, hippos and dogs scamper and romp about the design menagerie to the delight of people of all ages.
Rosendahl work closely with Kay Bojesen’s family to put a great many of Bojesen’s most popular creations into production.
