Dorte's Danish grandmother knitted cotton dishcloths. When she was no longer there to knit for her, and the last of her dishcloths were worn out, Dorte picked up a pair of knitting needles and knitted them for herself and her friends.
Their popularity grew and grew, and due to the demand they are now produced on a knitting machine in a fabulous rainbow of colours.
Solwang's 100% cotton dishcloths are effective and functional, just like the ones grandma used to knit, and in shades of salmon, apricot and olive, they are sure to brighten the kitchen too.

Dorte Soland Wang believes that we can still learn something from the past. Years ago, very little didn’t get recycled in households and this was the philosophy behind Solwang Design’s original knitted dish cloths.
Dorte's knitted cloths are ideal for wiping down surfaces and washing up, they also make great flannels for the bathroom too.
