Bring on the winter weather, these Öjbro merino wool mittens will keep your hands toasty warm even through the chilliest of winters.
Åse and Ted Öjbro knit their mittens using traditional Swedish folk patterns and colours. Inside they are insulated with three separate layers, one being Thinsulate, a super warm patented material.
It's difficult to convey just how warm these Kerstin mittens really are, but once our customers pop them on in our shop they are sold!
One mitten features a tiny yellow warning triangle - "Varning: Varma Vantar!" - "Warning: Warm Mittens!"
Made in Sweden.

Åse Öjbro took inspiration for the intricate Elin design from a traditional folk dance. Ted, the other half of the talented duo, just had to work out how to knit this complex and detailed pattern and then create the mittens - as always they are a triumph!
The charming Kerstin design is inspired by the folk song “the virgin is dancing with red “gull” ribbons” - "gull” is an old expression for sweetheart and is often found in traditional Scandinavian songs.
