Åsas Tomtebod Lill-Sune Christmas Gnome
Meet Åsas Tomtebod's Lill-Sune, the little brother of Sune. A small Christmas gnome standing about 10 cm tall, with a felted wool nose, a red wool hat, and a curly grey beard made from supersoft Gotland wool.
Lill-Sune is never happier than when he can sit on the mantlepiece, windowsill, or shelf. He's sure to add a traditional Swedish touch wherever he is placed.
Every Lill-Sune has its own character. Each one is totally unique and entirely handmade in Örnaholm, Sweden.
Our Åsas Tomtebod gnomes visit Hus & Hem every year. They are hugely popular, and always mark the start of the festive countdown when they arrive!

I am a Tomte also known as the Christmas gnome. I live in the woods or under the floorboards of a farmer's barn and although I am very shy, I deliver presents to all the children at Christmas time. I am about three feet tall and can be a bit grumpy and secretive. I don't come down the chimney, I just walk through the front door. I love to be left a bowl of porridge on Christmas Eve, even better if it has a pat of butter on the top. In Denmark and Norway I am known as Nisse and in Finland, Tonntu.
If I come to your house please straighten my hat and brush my beard a little, I love to look good and it tickles.
