Flora Danica Demark is a Danish brand. They take their inspiration from the works of Flora Danica and the beautiful illustrations of the Danish flora. 

Flora Danica covers an impressive Danish botanical reference work that illustrates many of the wild-growing plants in the Danish / Norwegian kingdom from 1761-1883 and contains illustrations of 3,240 plants. King Frederik V decided that all the plants in the king’s realm and their use of them were to be described in one large work: Flora Danica.

Flora Danica challenges the floral motifs in an innovative and creative way in their designs, with great respect for the original illustrations. Ruth Gallagher is their print designer based in Copenhagen with roots in London and Dublin. Ruth has spent over 10 years in luxury and contemporary fashion brands including; Alexander Mc Queen, Erdem, Stine Goya, and Baum und Pferdgarten.
