Elevate your home's cosiness this season with Lapuan Kankurit's Tupla blue and beige wool blanket – a double-sided delight, where minimalist design meets Nordic charm. True to its name, Tupla means double in Finnish, giving you twice the comfort and style.
Crafted from sky blue wool on one side and light beige on the other, this sumptuously soft blanket complements both modern and traditional interiors.
The reversible Tupla throw is finished with a simple and elegant blanket stitched edge, adding a refined touch to its design.
Once upon a time, there was a man named Juho Annala. The Ostrobothnian winters were freezing cold, so Juho decided to open a wool and felt boot factory in Lankilankoski. He worked so hard that year that he did not realise how important it would turn out to be: it was 1917, and in December an independent nation called Finland would be born. The years went by, the wool textiles sold well and children were born.
Nearly a hundred years later, Lapuan Kankurit is a family business that weaves Finnish quality. Felt boots have been replaced by linen, but the idea is the same: to do it right from the beginning and only the best is good enough. Each woven metre of fabric tells a story of Finnish handicraft.
