Leuchtturm1917 Drehgriffel Nr. 1 Gel Pen - Lemon

Inspired by the original 1920s design, the Drehgriffel Nr. 1 gel pen from Leuchtturm1917 makes a striking statement with its hexagonal silhouette.

The Lemon Drehgriffel is precision-milled from aluminium and brass. The narrowly tapered tip, like the twist mechanism, comes in a contrasting colour to the yellow body. It features a spring-loaded twist mechanism and comes with a replaceable black gel refill, offering a smooth writing experience with a line width of 0.5 mm.

Whether you're jotting down notes, sketching ideas, or simply expressing your thoughts on paper, the Drehgriffel gel pen delivers unparalleled precision and comfort with every stroke.

[dreː][gríffel] The name combines the word Dreh (twist), a reference to the twist mechanism, and the term Griffel (pen), a name for the oldest writing instrument in the world (from the Greek grapheĩon = writing instrument). The font is derived from the Sütterlin script. The original script was developed by the Berlin graphic artist Ludwig Sütterlin for learning cursive writing, which became the widespread standard in Germany during the 1920s.

Characterised by a love of the product, LEUCHTTURM1917 has developed a brand philosophy which is that everyone discovers and develops their character and their own ideas through writing by hand. The result of this conviction is the guiding principle of LEUCHTTURM1917: Denken mit der Hand - Writing by hand is thinking on paper.
