The reversible Pastille throw, designed by the talented duo Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll, two of Norway’s most lauded designers, follows the Røros Tweed tradition of Nordic, simplistic graphics. The open grid of contrasting dots leaves a calm, structured impression.

The Pastille Series of blankets comes in three colours inspired by nature: Mushroom, Green Moss, and Sun Yellow.

Selected wool from Norwegian sheep, combined with collaboration with leading Scandinavian designers and textile artists, has made Røros Tweed one of the most reputable producers of 100% Norwegian-made brands.

Røros, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was once a mining town 600 meters above sea level. The valuable copper discovery brought wealth to some but left many in poverty. When Peder Hiort, the mine's director, passed away in 1789, he left his fortune to a foundation supporting textile education and providing raw materials to the poor. This legacy laid the foundation for Røros Tweed, a tradition of handcraft and textile production. In 1940, Røros Tweed became a sales outlet for exquisite handmade textiles.
